Quinceañeras

you are worried and upset about many things, but one thing is needed.
— Luke 10:41-42

Why a Quinceañera?

Although neither commanded nor forbidden in the Bible, the Quinceañera service follows the tradition of having a special celebration on or around the fifteenth birthday of female youths.

During the Quinceañera service, the quinceañera has the opportunity to give thanks to God for the blessing of life that He has given her and to renew her confirmation promises as she enters womanhood.

The Quinceañera is reminded that the sacrificial love God has shown her is the same love she shows others in faith.

Quinceañeras at St. Peter

As Quinceañeras are not commanded in Scripture, in order to preserve our Pastor’s time for other areas of ministry, Quinceañeras are primarily reserved for those who are members of the congregation.

If you are interested in having your Quinceañera at St. Peter please sign up below.

Pastor Dunn will meet with the Quinceañera several times before the service to discuss the meaning of the Quinceañera service and the details of the service itself.
